"for we are co-workers in god's service..."

OUR COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAM WILL IMPLEMENT SERVICES IN:

•  Christian Counseling by Powerful Men and Women of God-Trained in his Word. 

The Lord laid out the foundation for believers when he said:

"BLESSED is the man that walketh NOT in the counsel of the Ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night."

(Psalm 1:1-2)

We realize that "Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellers they are established."

(Proverbs 15:22)

So, we don't need just any kind of counsel, we need "GODLY COUNSEL".  The Lord tells us in 1Corinthians 3:19 "For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness."  We've got to take out the Word of God and Find out what he says about the matter.

Let's face it, sometimes we need that extra helping hand or extra push from others who have more knowledge in a matter than ourselves, maybe they might even have a similar testimony.  

Always Keep in mind that it is OUR obligation to "BUILD" Each other up in the Faith. 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

Therefore, we will strive with all our strength to achieve success in this service toward every need.

• DORCAS

"In Joppa there was a disciple named Tabitha (in Greek her name is Dorcas); she was always doing good and helping the poor." (Acts 9:36)

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

(James 1:27)

This Life can be very hard for people that are poor or without family (husbands, siblings, wives, or children) to help or make things easier.  

The Lord has given us a work to do, and as members of Christ's body, we should have "Equal Concern" one for another...When one part suffers, we all suffer.  

We are commanded to Love one another as Christ Loved Us and gave himself for us.

We want to extend our arm in this area of "HELP" by providing also for the physical need.

• PRAYER AND STUDY

We can never get enough of Prayer OR Study.  We are commanded to pray without ceasing (1Thessalonians 5:17).

With this in mind, we WILL

"Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests...be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people."

The prayers of the Righteous availeth much and things move when the saints of God go into prayer pleading the throne on a matter.

We will pray for you, we will  counsel you through GOD'S Word, we will study with you, and We WILL HELP YOU.
